It’s not exactly a nose job but somehow it is I guess because the surgeon that was doing my nose, somehow straightened my nose. The past few days have been hectic for me because in between being busy with work, I was admitted to Damansara Specialist Hospital to get my nasal polyps removed. My sinus infections has gotten so bad that it’s blocking my breathing and it’s extremely difficult for me to sleep at night. The surgery lasted 6 hours and thank God that everything went well.
The surgery that I did was a relatively recent advanced treatment of sinusitis called functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). The entire surgery cost me RM14k inclusive of hospitalization, medications and consultations and I will have to go for a follow-up check with the doctor after 2 weeks. I guess that’s also when I’ll find out whether the polyps is something which is serious or not. Right now, I am still numb from all the drugs given to me for the past few days and there are a lot that I can’t do such as bending over, eating hot and spicy food, carrying heavy stuffs. I’m suppose to get enough rest but I am glad that I am able to breathe properly again. Somehow at times I am still breathing using my mouth because it hurts at times. I hope I will be better soon 🙁 Overall it sucks to be sick during the holidays season.
